The Rhythm of You
Your body speaks to me
in ways words never could.
Each curve, each sigh,
a melody I’m desperate to master.
Your skin is silk beneath my touch,
heat rising where my hands linger,
drawing lines that only we can see.
I lose myself in the rhythm of you,
in the way you arch,
in the way your breath catches
like a secret slipping free.
There’s nothing between us now,
only the hum of desire,
only the promise
of what’s about to unfold.
About This Poem — The Rhythm of You
Desire isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it moves quietly — through touch, breath, tension, and the unspoken language two people create together.
This poem came from thinking about intimacy as rhythm rather than performance. The way connection can feel musical, instinctive, almost impossible to fully explain with words alone.
"The Rhythm of You" is about surrendering to presence — becoming lost in the energy, movement, and closeness shared between two people.
Some attraction is surface-level.
Some attraction feels consuming.
This poem lives in that deeper space — where desire becomes its own language.
