and pull the sun closer

to see us grow again.

About This Poem — Climate Change II

Not every damaged relationship is beyond repair.

Sometimes healing begins the moment someone decides to stop being the storm.

This poem came from thinking about growth after emotional destruction — the difficult choice to rebuild trust, relearn communication, and nurture something fragile instead of abandoning it.

"Climate Change II" is about restoration. The belief that love, much like the earth itself, can recover when care replaces neglect and hope replaces silence.

Healing doesn’t happen instantly.
Growth doesn’t happen without effort.
