Listen, when Norian gives you a book, he is absolutely giving you a BOOK. Honestly, this has to be the best Black Romance Novel I've ever read. I'm a HUGE CCJ fan, she's the GOAT, and I'm telling you I can't think of a book that comes close to what I just went through emotionally. Intelligently written and gut punch after gut punch for the main characters, it was so real. a part of me wanted to jump into the book and just start going off on these people, but now that it's over. I'm stuck, just wondering what happened to my friends.
I pray there is a sequel in the works, there are so many questions. This was a masterpiece. 10 stars!!
Autumn was soft, emotional, and just beautiful. It reminded me of how love can be both healing and heartbreaking at the same time. This one hit me right in the feels.
Autumn was heartfelt and beautifully written. It captured both love and heartbreak in a way that stayed with me long after finishing.
I finished this book and just sat there in silence. It drained me emotionally—grief, laughter, betrayal, redemption—but that’s the mark of great writing. Norian Love knows how to make you FEEL. I'll read this every fall.
The emotional depths I was taken to in Autumn weren't like anything I'd expect from a black male romance author, and that might have been judgmental. What I realized is that Norian Love is a master storyteller and that has nothing to do with gender or skin color. Presuming what I had experienced with other male writers was on me. What I learned is that Norian Love took me to emotional depths that no other author, male female, black or white, had taken me to before. He told a love story. One I hated. one l loved. one i will cherish because of it's realism. and for a WRITER {not male, female, not black or white, just writer}to push me here I'll be a fan forever.
let me be clear
THIS BOOK WAS PERFECT!
from the first chapter you fall in love with Tatum Clarke. his quest to become a man for his son is the kind of thing that every woman swoons about. Tate (as he is known) is a son sworn to a blood oath. he's bounded by his father's absence and thus will never abandon his own son with a relationship that clearly has some fragments. In short, he's stuck, but he'll do his duty. Luckily, he doesn't have to because his wife (if you can call her that) leaves him with the baby, and he has to figure it out.
THIS IS CHAPTER ONE
Norian crafted a brilliant story and that's before you get to the musical complete Autumn, a Love Story, the Soundtrack to the Novel.
To know that Tatum got to write songs with Drinks in real life is a measure i've never seen in a writer. This was pure genius, and in short, this book was perfect.
Get Autumn, you won't regret the experience
